Superimposing
Superimposing is to edit an image on top of another image, smoothing out any obtrusive edges making the images look as one. A very difficult thing to master but photoshop has tools that makes superimposing very easy. There are tons of uses for superimposition, or at least more than you would think, I dont know how many times I need to things together but couldn't take a picture with them in the same frame. Superimposing does exactly that, so you don't need to actually shoot a picture of a cat chasing a mouse but seperately fused as one.
